Aspiring to new heights, toward the 100th anniversary of the founding

The Company was established in July 1929 with a great purpose of developing a large industrial port & complex by reclaiming a site fronting on Naruo village in Hyogo prefecture (present Nishinomiya City). Ever since, for more than 90 years, we have performed various crucial functions in social infrastructure development at home and abroad.

Although what is expected by the society may change according to changing times, our stance of “serving public society with new and productive technology” as our corporate identity will never change. We always understand the needs of the times and have made efforts to come up with appropriate solutions for them.

Now, in order to prepare for significant changes in business environment, as part of management enhancement, we have determined to change our business execution system with a CEO who is responsible for management strategy in a medium- and long-term perspective and a COO who is responsible for execution of the business divisions.

Toward the 100th anniversary of the founding in 2029, we will aspire to and strive for new heights by making efforts for the resolution with fresh and free ideas and a sense of speed suitable for new times, with demonstrating our technical capabilities and operating resources as well as showing maximum performance of each and every officer and staff.
